Small picturesque village

Small village of hardly 600 inhabitants, Homps is an old village gallo roman, located on the channel of the South in edge of Minervois and the wine soil of “the Double Money”.

On a hundred kilometres, the channel of the Rhone to Sète crosses Languedoc and the Petite Camargue to reach the doors of Provence. Link between the channel of the South and the inland waterways of South-east. The channel of the Ponds, supplemented by the channel of Beaucaire, forms today the channel of the Rhone to Sète, which connects the pond of Thau and Sète, in Beaucaire.
