The various rivers, Mayenne, Sarthe and Oudon, offer more then 300km of navigation. You will cruise through wooded landscapes and towns like Laval with its castle which rises above the river or Angers, town of the powerful king René or Le Mans, known for car racing, Solesmes and its Benedictine Abbey and Sablé, where you will taste the delicious shortbread cookies.

The River Mayenne is one of the most beautiful rivers in France. The river is wilder if you go to the North between Laval and Mayenne. To the South between Daon and Angers, the landscape is flat and your will find more villages (Chenillé Changé, Le Lion d’Angers, etc…). Riding a bike will then be easier on the tow path.

The river Sarthe joins the river Mayenne near Angers. Do not miss the Abbey of Solesmes, Malicorne-sur-Sarthe known for its china and Le Mans of course.
