Pontailler sur Saône

Pontailler is located at the confluences of the Saone, of the channel of the Marne to the Saone, Albane, Bèze, Vingeanne and Ognon, to the foot of the Ardoux Mount, thus offering beautiful points of view and constituting a paradise for the fishermen.
Ognon is an ideal place for small transferred in the canoe. The tourists find themselves here, stage city between Burgundy and Franche County where we can still taste to the joys of the bathe in river.

To know : In Maxilly on the Saone, a professional fisherman gives courses of fishing to the fly, fishing with silure, etc… It is one of the last professional fishermen to supply a restaurant of his catches.

Very favourite : village and caves of Bèzes, with resurgences of Bèze and galleries of craftsmen.

Navigation on the Saône :

The Saone furrows the slopes of the famous vineyards of the coast chalonnaise, Mâconnais and the Beaujolais wine, walking on idly through the strengthened cities. True paradise for the fishermen, his weak slope and its regular flow makes a calm and easy water way of it.
